How the revolving credit facility calculator works

Estimate interest and facility charges with a constant drawn balance, or compare the figures in a provider's quote.

What you enter

Assumed credit limit
For illustration, not an offered or approved limit.
Amount drawn
From zero to the credit limit; assumed constant throughout the term.
Duration in days
Whole days, 1–3,650; annual simple charges use days / 365.
Annual interest on amount drawn
Enter your assumption, from 0% to 100%; not an APR.
Annual facility fee on full limit
Enter zero explicitly if your assumed fee is zero.
Annual charge on unused facility
Enter zero explicitly if no unused charge is assumed.
Fixed additional fees
One-off charges for this scenario; enter zero if none is assumed.

Method and assumptions

Interest = drawn amount × annual interest × days / 365. Facility charge = full limit × annual facility percentage × days / 365.

Unused charge = (limit − draw) × annual unused percentage × days / 365. Fixed fees are added once. A zero draw can still have facility and unused charges.

The limit and draw stay constant. Compound interest, re-draws, repayment changes and cancellation or minimum fees are not modelled. Check the provider's review, repayment and redraw conditions before entering an agreement.

Status of these figures

Illustrative only, not a binding finance offer. Costs vary by lender and applicant; additional fees may apply and eligibility is subject to assessment. Ocean Capital Exchange is an introducer, not the lender. Approval, credit limits, security and redraw conditions are subject to the provider's assessment and agreement.

Not every commercial finance product is regulated, and regulatory treatment varies by product, provider and borrower. Ocean Capital Exchange introduces businesses to third-party providers and is not a lender.

Questions about this calculator

Can an undrawn revolving facility still cost money?

Yes. Full-limit facility fees and unused-limit charges can apply even when the drawn amount is zero. Enter the charges from your actual terms or assumptions.

Does this calculator approve a credit limit?

No. Ocean introduces businesses to third-party providers. The provider assesses the application and decides the limit, pricing, security and conditions. Calculator results are illustrations, not approval or a provider quotation.
