E-commerce payments: receiving and converting overseas marketplace revenue
Ocean Capital Exchange helps online sellers plan foreign-currency marketplace receipts, conversion timing and supplier payments. Your dedicated contact checks the account and platform requirements with you before you change payout details; compatibility and any savings must be assessed, not assumed.
Definition
What e-commerce collection is
E-commerce currency collection means receiving payouts from online marketplaces or payment platforms into a foreign-currency account, then holding, converting or spending those funds.
Without a currency account, platforms often convert payouts to sterling automatically at their own rate.
Whether a particular marketplace allows payouts to a partner account depends on that marketplace's rules and the partner's integration. We do not list supported platforms until confirmed.

Still unsure? Call +44 20 7183 2026.
Which marketplaces are supported?
OCE helps you check the marketplace's payout rules and the provider's receiving-account requirements before applying. Do not change payout settings until both sides confirm compatibility; no platform integration is guaranteed on this page.
Will I save money?
Not necessarily. Compare the full cost against your current arrangement; we do not claim savings.
Is this a checkout or card service?
No. This covers receiving and converting payouts, not taking card payments.
Can I pay suppliers from my balance?
Usually, in currencies the partner supports.
Are funds protected?
The receiving provider's terms explain applicable safeguarding arrangements and limitations. These differ from bank deposit protection and do not guarantee instant recovery or no loss. OCE does not hold marketplace receipts.
What currencies can I receive?
Coverage depends on the partner.
