How the funding suitability explorer works
Identify categories worth discussing from your funding purpose and repayment preference. This is not a credit assessment.
What you enter
- Funding amount explored
- Used as discussion context, not a minimum/maximum lending threshold.
- Funding purpose
- Select the main use of funds.
- Trading history in months
- Whole months from 0 to 1,200. No invented lender eligibility threshold is applied.
- Annual turnover
- Enter zero if no turnover is assumed. Turnover is context, not a repayment capacity calculation.
- Repayment preference
- This helps suggest discussion categories, not a guaranteed product match.
Method and assumptions
Funding categories are suggested by the entered purpose and repayment preference. Amount, trading history and turnover are captured as discussion context.
No invented lender turnover, trading-history or amount cut-offs are used. There is no approval score, eligibility probability or automatic lending decision.
Invoices, supplier orders, assets, tax liabilities and sales-linked repayments have different evidence and risk requirements. Conflicting preferences can suggest more than one discussion category, not a guaranteed match.
No credit search, verified invoice review, debt-service assessment, asset valuation or lender underwriting takes place. Revolving credit and standalone tax funding remain unconfirmed offerings.
Status of these figures
Illustrative only, not a binding finance offer. Costs vary by lender and applicant; additional fees may apply and eligibility is subject to assessment. Ocean Capital Exchange is an introducer, not the lender. Product-specific regulatory disclosures require review before production. Suggestions are funding categories to explore, not credit approval, guaranteed eligibility or a lender match. Some exploratory product categories have unconfirmed availability.
Not every commercial finance product is regulated, and regulatory treatment varies by product, provider and borrower. Ocean Capital Exchange introduces businesses to third-party providers and is not a lender. These disclosures are awaiting owner and regulatory review before production.
Questions about this calculator
Is the suitability explorer an eligibility decision?
No. It suggests categories for a discussion using purpose and repayment preference. It does not perform underwriting or apply invented lender thresholds.
Why does the explorer ask about turnover and trading history?
These provide context for a funding discussion. They do not generate a credit score or automatically approve or exclude any product.
