Daniel Swaisland

Daniel Swaisland brings over 14 years of experience in the foreign exchange and commercial finance industry. His career began at several London-based brokerages, with the bulk of his early experience at Firma Foreign Exchange Corporation (now OFX), where he gained a deep understanding of international payments and risk management.

Following his time in the industry, Daniel took a break to travel across Southeast Asia and Australia, broadening his perspective before returning to London to establish Ocean Capital Exchange in 2018. His vision was to build a company that not only delivers expert FX and financial solutions but also cultivates a strong company culture with a focus on work-life balance.

With a passion for financial markets, Daniel stays ahead of macroeconomic trends, ensuring Ocean Capital Exchange provides clients with insightful, strategic guidance in an ever-evolving global economy. Under his leadership, the company continues to grow, offering tailored solutions that help businesses navigate currency risk and optimise international transactions.

When the weather warms up, you’ll often find Daniel on the golf course, enjoying a round with friends, colleagues and partners. He also has a passion for travel and loves exploring new places, whether it’s a weekend city break or an adventure further afield.

Daniel Anderson

Dan joined Ocean Capital Exchange in 2018 in a hybrid sales and dealer role, developing a strong foundation in foreign exchange and commercial finance. As the company expanded, Dan was promoted to Senior Dealer, leading a team and contributing to the firm’s growth. In 2023, Dan was appointed Director, now overseeing operations and strategy with a focus on driving further business expansion.

Committed to delivering tailored financial solutions, Dan combines market expertise with a client-centric approach to help businesses navigate the complexities of currency exchange.

Outside of work, Dan enjoys spending time with family, playing football during the colder months, and hitting the golf course when the weather warms up.

Head of Desk

George Keane

George specialises in foreign exchange and market strategy. He holds a degree in International Business with Spanish from Nottingham Trent University and the University of Valencia, graduating in 2020. Since joining Ocean Capital Exchange the same year, he has progressed into senior roles, gaining extensive experience in the FX market and developing a deep understanding of global currency movements.

In his current role, George leads a high-performing team, overseeing trade execution, monitoring market trends, and ensuring clients receive competitive exchange rates and first-class service. His expertise in FX risk management and market analysis allows him to provide businesses with clear, strategic guidance on their international transactions.

A strong relationship builder, George is dedicated to nurturing long-term partnerships with clients, helping them navigate the complexities of global payments and currency risk. His fluency in Spanish further enhances his ability to connect with international clients and support Ocean Capital Exchange’s expansion into new markets.

Jack Warren

Jack joined Ocean Capital Exchange in 2023, maturing from a general business development executive to specialising in foreign exchange, trade finance, and letters of credit. In this role, he assists businesses in managing international transactions efficiently, ensuring they secure competitive currency solutions and access the right financial instruments to support global trade. With a strong understanding of financial markets, he stays informed on economic trends, regulatory changes, and FX risk management strategies to provide clients with tailored solutions that drive business growth.

Jack has a proven track record of building strong client relationships and delivering strategic financial solutions to companies navigating the complexities of international trade. His expertise spans currency risk mitigation, optimising cross-border payments, and structuring trade finance facilities, including letters of credit, to support seamless global transactions.

Beyond his professional commitments, Jack is an avid sports enthusiast, with golf being a personal favourite. He also closely follows football and unfortunately is a passionate Manchester United supporter. Looking ahead, he aims to expand his international experience through travel, gaining further insight into global markets and cross-border financial strategies.

Harry Wintour

Harry joined the business in June 2024 as a finance-focused Business Development Executive. With a degree in Psychology and Business Management from the University of Sussex, and a passion for helping people, he’s a valuable strategic growth partner for directors across all industries.

If Harry wasn’t in the world of finance, he’d likely be playing for his favourite club, Arsenal. A dynamic left-winger by trade, with the ability to control the game from central midfield, and defend at left-back, one word comes to mind—versatile.

Some refer to him as the “Sunday League Messi,” but you’ll never hear him say it. West Ham had no idea what they were letting go at 7 years old…

Business Development Executive

Reuben Meredith

Reuben graduated from the University of Leeds in 2023 with a 2:1 in Economics, where he built a solid understanding of how macro-economic trends shape business performance. His knowledge of global market movements and how they impact corporate decision-making enables him to benefit businesses worldwide – particularly in areas such as company planning, international payments, and cross-border financing strategies.

Since finishing university, he’s been diving deeper into the world of finance and strategy, always looking at how economic shifts create both challenges and opportunities for businesses. Proudly boasting a 100% score in his statistics exam has strengthened his ability to interpret complex data sets into clear insights that actually make a difference – an essential skill for identifying FX trends, managing currency risk, and helping businesses make data-driven decisions.

Outside of work, Reuben is passionate about sports and believes the mindset you bring to training translates directly to professional life: stay focused, work hard, and back your team. Whether it’s football, triathlons, or getting in the gym, he brings that same energy and mindset to everything he does.
