Referral commission

Earn 20% Ongoing Referral Commission.

Our accountant referral programme offers 20% ongoing commission on qualifying revenue generated by introduced clients, subject to our partner agreement.

Partner questions

Frequently asked questions.

Anything not covered here is confirmed by our team and set out in the signed partner terms.

01Does it cost anything to become a referral partner?

Our team will confirm any costs as part of the partnership discussion, and the position is set out in the signed partner agreement before you make any introductions.

02Do I need financial services experience?

No. You do not need to become a finance expert or recommend a specific product. You introduce the client, with their permission, and OCE's specialists handle the FX or funding conversation.

03How much commission can I earn?

The programme offers 20% ongoing commission on qualifying revenue generated by introduced clients, subject to the partner agreement. Earnings depend on whether introductions proceed and generate eligible revenue, so we cannot forecast or guarantee any amount.

04How and when is commission paid?

Our team confirms how commission is calculated, what counts as eligible revenue, how long it applies and when it is paid. These points are set out in the signed partner terms.

05Will my clients remain my clients?

You remain the client's trusted adviser. OCE manages the specialist FX or funding process and will not deliberately market unrelated services to referred clients outside the agreed relationship. Specific arrangements are set out in the partner agreement.

06What happens after I introduce someone?

Our specialists contact the client through the agreed introduction process, discuss their requirements, explore suitable options and guide them through the process. Any finance remains subject to the provider's assessment and terms.

07Can I refer clients for both FX and business finance?

Yes. The programme covers foreign exchange and international payments as well as commercial finance. Our team can discuss which referrals would be most relevant to your practice.

08Do I need to disclose referral commission to my clients?

You should consider your professional obligations, any client disclosure requirements and conflicts of interest before accepting referral fees. Check the guidance from your professional body and take advice where needed.

09Can bookkeepers and smaller accountancy firms join?

Bookkeepers and accountancy practices of different sizes are welcome to enquire. Our team will discuss whether the partnership is a good fit for your practice.
