Questions
Eligible businesses may be able to buy USDT or USDC with traditional currencies, and convert them back, through our specialist provider network. Access depends on provider onboarding, the purpose of the transaction and completion of KYB, KYC, AML and sanctions checks. Rates and any fees are confirmed by the provider before you proceed. OCE does not provide investment advice and these services are intended for commercial payment and conversion needs, not speculative trading.
Our provider has confirmed ERC20 (Ethereum) and TRC20 (TRON) routes for both USDT and USDC. USDC on TRC20 is available through the provider's own arrangement; it is not native Circle issuance, which Circle has discontinued on TRON. All routes remain subject to provider approval and compliance checks for each transaction. Always confirm the exact network before sending funds, as assets sent on the wrong network may be unrecoverable.
Businesses holding supported digital assets, such as USDT or USDC, in their own wallet may be able to convert them into GBP or other traditional currencies for commercial use. Other cryptocurrencies are assessed individually and are subject to provider confirmation. The provider will need to understand where the assets came from and may screen the originating wallets. Assets that cannot be verified may be declined.
The searchable directory on this page lists the currencies our provider has confirmed for eligible corporate purchasing, from ALL (Albanian Lek) to TOP (Tongan Pa'anga). The list is for corporate buying only. SLL is shown as a legacy code for reference; the current Sierra Leonean Leone code is SLE. Inclusion does not guarantee that a particular transaction will be approved.
We can assess requirements involving less liquid or more complex markets through our specialist provider relationships. Higher-risk jurisdictions require enhanced due diligence, and some routes will not be available. No service may be used to circumvent sanctions, capital controls or other legal restrictions, and we do not offer access to sanctioned jurisdictions.
No. The exotic currency list covers eligible corporate purchasing transactions only. Selling, repatriation and other transaction types are not implied by the list. If you need to sell or repatriate a currency, tell us in your enquiry and we will check whether a route exists.
Expect know-your-business (KYB) and know-your-customer (KYC) checks, verification of directors and beneficial owners, anti-money laundering (AML) review, sanctions screening, source of funds questions and, for digital assets, blockchain analysis of the wallets involved. Enhanced due diligence applies to higher-risk jurisdictions. Transactions may be delayed, queried or declined as a result.
Complete the enquiry form on this page with a short description of your business, the currencies or digital assets involved and what you want to achieve. If you selected a currency from the directory, mention its three-letter code. A specialist will review your enquiry and contact you. Making an enquiry does not commit you to anything and does not guarantee a solution will be available or approved.
Potential benefits include managing your business's digital asset balances, accessing supported stablecoin liquidity and exploring conversion options alongside traditional banking. These are possibilities rather than guaranteed outcomes. Stablecoins also carry risks, including depegging, issuer and reserve risk, network errors and irreversible transfers.
Timing varies. Network confirmation can be relatively quick once a transfer is broadcast, but overall timing also depends on onboarding, compliance review, network congestion and the conversion legs involved. We do not promise instant or same-day settlement.
Yes, crypto on/off-ramping is first-party to first-party only. Crypto withdrawals must go to your business's own dedicated wallet, not a supplier's or another third party's wallet. Third-party fiat deposits may be accepted subject to provider approval and compliance checks, but third-party outbound crypto transfers are not supported. Wallet requirements and ownership checks are confirmed during onboarding. OCE does not provide wallet or custody services.
Digital asset transactions involve risks, including price volatility, network delays and potential loss of funds. Availability of services is subject to provider approval, applicable regulations, sanctions screening and compliance checks. Not all currencies, digital assets or jurisdictions are supported. Stablecoins may lose their reference value (depegging), and transfers sent on the wrong network or to an incorrect address may be unrecoverable. Settlement may be delayed, and quoted availability does not guarantee transaction approval.
OCE introduces businesses to specialist providers and does not operate an exchange, hold digital assets or provide custody. We do not promote investment returns, speculative trading, leverage or cryptocurrency investment advice.
